If a web designer only had to follow a set of directions, we wouldn’t need his services; Automated softwares can do that much. The real art is in evaluating a proposed design from every angle and vantage point to make sure a design will achieve its goals and will penetrate in the target market.
I have read many times that In designing the websites, we have to think about the two main streams:
The target market
Color scheme (If the target market is Old people, You can't pick dark and shining colors)
I have asked the designer of my company to revamp the official website. He redesigned the website which can be found at www.horizon-world.com. Our target market is rich and color scheme varies page to page. But our customers likes it very much. Couple has offered to sale it to them. The website is up after many reviews and discussion with designers and top management.
Many people are giving suggestions in different sections like How the portfolio should look like. After their suggestions, we have updated it.
